Atterbury Management Services (Pty) Ltd would like to announce a vacant permanent position in the capacity of: PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT at the Head Office in Pretoria.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Financial Asset Manager and will be responsible for the full financial accounting function on an allocated portfolio of buildings/entities. The successful candidate will report to the Financial Asset Manager.
1. Position purpose / general responsibilities
Property Administration:
- Review and manage inputs from debtors, creditors and banking administrators to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Preparation and or review of monthly management accounts and supporting reconciliations.
- Perform and manage income statement variance analysis and performance projections (IS comments & RFC).
- Monthly cashflow preparation & cashflow management.
- Attend to ad hoc financial queries (reconciliations, financial analysis).
- Attend to queries on external & internal audits.
- VAT calculation and submission.
- Develop finance’s influence in making value adding business decisions.
2. Experience / Knowledge / Requirements
- Degree in Accounting/Finance.
- Completed accounting articles/internship of at least 3 years.
- Experience in Property Industry preferential.
- 3 years+ similar experience.
- Can work independently.
- Have good communication skills.
- Hard working and ability to take ownership.
- Have a solution orientated approach and good problem-solving skills.
